Join the 1st, 2nd, and 12th St. Albert Scout Troops for an unforgettable weekend at Lessard Lake Outdoor Education Centre as we kick off another exciting year of Scouting.
Whether you're returning for another season or attending for the first time, this camp is the perfect way to reconnect with friends, meet Scouts from across St. Albert, and dive into a weekend packed with adventure. From exciting patrol challenges and action-packed wide games to campfires under the stars and shared meals, every moment is an opportunity to build friendships, create lasting memories, and celebrate the spirit of Scouting.

Coming prepared is an important part of any Scouting experience. The gear you bring helps you stay comfortable, safe, and ready to take part in all the activities throughout the weekend. From warm clothing and rain gear to sleeping equipment and personal items, every item has a purpose in helping you enjoy camp in all conditions.

Think you've built the fastest car? Great! But speed isn't the only way to win.
Before the racing begins, every entry has a chance to earn awards in a variety of fun categories voted on by participants and leaders. Whether your vehicle is the coolest, most creative, funniest, best themed, or even the weirdest on the track, there's a chance to take home a prize.
So don't just build for speed, build something that stands out! Add a unique design, tell a story with your creation, or come up with something no one has ever seen before. Sometimes the most memorable vehicles aren't the ones that cross the finish line first, they're the ones everyone remembers long after the race is over.

What to Expect
This event is ran by our Venturers and Rovers. From setting up the track and checking in entries to weighing vehicles, keeping scores, cooking hot dogs, and helping with cleanup, they work behind the scenes to keep the rally running smoothly.
Their leadership, enthusiasm, and teamwork make the day possible, creating a fun and exciting experience for everyone. Be sure to thank them when you see them, they're an important part of what makes this event a success!

Scouters play a key role in making this camp safe, organized, and enjoyable for everyone involved. While the youth take part in the activities, Scouters help supervise, support patrols, and ensure that camp runs smoothly throughout the weekend.
Safety is always the top priority. Scouters are responsible for maintaining a safe environment, following camp guidelines, and being available to assist with any issues that may arise. They also help encourage positive behaviour, teamwork, and participation across all groups.
